Keeping our families safe is my top priority. Walking our neighborhoods, I've heard how much you value our first responders and the peace of mind they provide.

I am focused on replacing our aging equipment and ensuring our frontline teams have the tools they need to stay safe and effective. This also means recruiting and retaining the best talent with competitive pay that reflects their service to Papillion.

Supporting those who protect us keeps our community strong. What are your thoughts?

We all love Papillion, but it is getting harder for many of our neighbors to stay here. Right now, the median home price in our city is over $400,000, and average rent is around $1,500 a month. This makes it tough for young professionals just starting out or seniors looking to downsize.

I am running for mayor because I believe in managed growth that keeps our community affordable. We need to focus on building the missing housing components that allow families to stay rooted. This means practical planning and infrastructure that supports everyone who calls Papillion home.

I want to ensure that our kids can afford to live in the same town where they grew up.

Share your thoughts with me. What kind of housing do you think our city needs most?

Did you know you can beat the rush and vote early? You can cast your ballot in person at the Sarpy County Election Commission located at 1102 E. First St. any time before Tuesday. Every vote counts. The top 2 candidates with the most votes move forward, so if you want your candidate in the General Election - vote early by May 11th! Primary Election Day is May 12, 2026.  #votejoeforpapio

If you have spent much time at a local event or a city meeting, chances are we have crossed paths.

Serving Papillion is not just a title for me. It is a way of life that our family values. From supporting our veterans at Moving Veterans Forward to planning our city's future on the Planning Commission, every one of these experiences has shaped my approach to leadership.

I believe a leader should be a neighbor first. That means listening to your concerns about our roads, our parks, and our local businesses. It means showing up and doing the work together to keep our community safe and thriving.

Take a look at the roles I have been honored to hold over the years. Each one taught me something valuable about what makes Papillion special and how we can best manage our growth for working families.

Come say hi next time you see me out and about. Share your input on how we can keep our city moving in the right direction.

Join us in this effort to keep Papillion the best place to call home.

Planning to head to the polls? Don't forget your ID! A valid photo ID is now required to vote in Nebraska. Make sure you have yours ready so your voice can be heard. Let's ensure every eligible voter in Papillion is ready for Election Day!

We've been knocking on doors and having real conversations. I hear the words 'Traffic' and 'Infrastructure' a lot. Our community is changing, and we want to make sure Papillion grows the right way. There is a big difference between managed growth and the some of the massive jolts we see nearby.

Managed growth means being proactive rather than reactive. It is about making sure our roads, parks, and utilities are ready before new houses go up, not trying to catch up after the fact. We want to protect our hometown character while welcoming new opportunities for our residents without losing what makes us Papillion.

I have spent years at the Papillion Community Foundation and I am on the Papillon Planning Commission. I’ve been listening to your concerns about traffic and local infrastructure. Your feedback is the most important part of this campaign. We are focused on responsible planning that protects our small businesses and keeps our families safe.

Share your input with me today. I want to hear what you think about our city's future. Join us as we work to keep Papillion the best place to call home.
